Obama "Lipstick on a Pig"
Following the above remark, the McCain campaign demanded Senator Obama apologise for calling Palin a pig. Obviously, as she herself claims, she is not a pig, she is a pit bull. Obama responded, "Enough," he said, "I don't care what they say about me. But I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies, phony outrage and swiftboat politics." Senator McCain himself used the phrase "Lipstick on a pig" to describe Hillary Clinton's health care plan.
Hi Peggy Sue -
ReplyDeleteMiss Piggy can kiss me anytime!
McCain knows that he cannot run on the Republican "successes" of the past 8 to 14 years (yes, we've been under their thumb that long).
He also knows our lemming press (fanned and fueled by Fox and Limbaugh, etc.), will occupy their coverage with this tripe. And in the meanwhile, they are two days closer to Nov. 4, without a meaningful examination and reminder of their colossal failures.
And even if our press did report the facts, as occasionally they do, this is a country on a fact-free diet.
How else can you explain that the RNC gave W only 8 minutes, and perhaps mentioned him twice? And yet when given a choice, they whoop and cheer Palin?
Sarah Palin is the distilled essence of wingnut. She has it all. She is dishonest. She is a religious nut. She is incurious. She is anti-science. She is inexperienced. She abuses her authority. She hides behind executive privilege. She is a big spender. She works from the gut and places a greater value on instinct than knowledge.
And most dangerous of all, she is supremely self-confident to the point of not recognizing how ill-equipped she is to lead the country.
She is George Bush in a dress.
As every bumper sticker in Texas says, God Bless W!
(But I rant...)
Keep spreading the word,
